Has your organization’s selection system ever failed and left you with a hire that was not right for the position? This article suggests that you are far from alone. In our experience, having too few candidates to select from, limiting the information you review when deciding, rushing a decision, and not being willing to admit that a candidate, although possessing some attractive qualities and experience, is not the right fit for the position are some common reasons that the wrong people are hired.
